- Hey Nick, welcome back! What made you come back to the club for the fourth or is it fifth time?
"When BK went down to Division 5 and I had spoken to Kevin, I felt like I had a responsibility to help them go back up to Division 4. It wasn’t an easy decision because i had played a big part in Kaldeiska’s second half of the season, but respectively I felt like this is something I had to do."
- Last time you were here was as head coach and now you are back as player, take us through your decision and how does it feel to be back?
" It feels natural to be back. I know the club and the people in the club. Like I said the decision was a tough one but I’m hoping that my decision helps the club in the long run."
- What are you most looking forward to this time around?
"I’m looking forward to playing with old friends and proving even at 36, I have something still to offer."
- Do you have any specific goals or expectations for the upcoming season?
"I’ve trained a couple of times, played 85 minutes of a friendly and my fitness feels good which surprised me a lot. The positive is that it can only get better. My goal is the same as the club, win division 5 and take BK30 back to division 4. Personally I just want to play as many minutes as I can and contribute with as many goals and assists to achieve the goal of the club."
- What do you think has changed the most in the club since last time you were here?
" To be honest not much has changed. Curre is still sportchef and Hubbe is still assistant coach, but they have a new pitch and new office which shows ambition from the club."
- What motivates you the most to keep playing at this level, div 5?
"My motivation is the same as it is in every club, I always want to win. Wether it’s training or match, winning is everything to me."
- How well do you know coach Kevin and how are you geting along so far. (WE all remember the harsh words between you guys from early seasons. Kevin also supports Liverpool and you Leeds)
" I have harsh words with players nearly every game, that’s the winning mentality in me. But as soon as the game finishes, then it’s a totally different thing.
Haha the fact he is a Liverpool fan, I can’t do anything about. People just make bad decisions in their life.. but a good decision he made was ringing me to tell me his plans and that he wanted me to be part of the journey. Me and kevin are similar in a lot of ways and I’m excited to be a part of his squad for the upcoming season."
Stort tack Nick! Kul att du är tillbaka igen och vill hjälpa oss tillbaka till 4:an.
Heja BK30!
